Want to learn more about possible careers and experiences in political science and international relations? Would you like to speak with a UD grad who now works as a legislative aide on the Hill? Maybe you want to ask questions of a newly minted lawyer in a large New York City law firm? Do you want to hear more about the foreign service and what it takes to work abroad? Here is your chance!
The Political Science Department is hosting a Virtual Career Summit on Saturday, April 24 from 1-5pm, featuring Political Science and International Relations alumni. The summit is divided into 4 one-hour sessions. Feel free to attend one or all sessions to hear from our own alumni about their pathways from being UD grads to successful professionals. Discussions will include insights into finding jobs, networking, and managing your online presence (among other things).
Sessions
1. Public Service and Public Office (1-2pm) (Dave Redlawsk- moderator)
2. Private Industry and Enterprise (2-3pm)
3. International Careers and Experiences (3-4 pm) Alice Ba moderator
4. Law and the Legal Profession (4-5pm) Wayne Batchis moderator
This event is free, but you will need to register here. You will receive a Zoom link shortly before the summit via email (there is just one link to access all of the panels).
