mobilization and voter decision making in 2020 across race and gender
groups and how these factors might continue to play a role in future

chapter “Building Democracy and Leading a Revolution in Culture: Helen
Hoy Greeley and the Campaigns for Woman Suffrage in California, Oregon,
New Jersey and New York, 1904-1917, a case study in principled
nonviolence,” published as the Chapter One in <em>Revolutionary Nonviolence for Violent Times</em>, Laura Finley and Michael Minch, eds.. Cambridge Scholars Publishing. This volume is the first in a series, <em>Peace Studies: Edges and Innovations</em>.
The “Series Introduction” notes, “The intent of the series is to fill
in gaps in the conflict, peace, justice and reconciliation literature

Goldstein receives Lifetime Achievement Award | Goldstein receives Lifetime Achievement Award | ;lesl; | 5/7/2021 4:00:00 AM | | <p><strong>Leslie F. Goldstein</strong>, Judge Hugh M. Morris Professor Emerita of
Political Science, has received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the
Law and Courts Section of the American Political Science Association.
The selection committee, whose members unanimously chose Goldstein for
the honor, noted that she is the coauthor of the leading textbook, now
in its fourth edition, on women in American law. The committee said it
was also “impressed with her wide-ranging work on American
constitutionalism, enslavement and rethinking legal history, engendering
law, and on the European Union.” Goldstein has served as the Law and
Courts Section president and on numerous committees and editorial

The virtual workshop, “The Science of Implicit Bias: Implications for Law and Policy,” brought together leading experts to focus primarily on racial bias.
