Biography
​Yongjun Ko is from Jeju-do, the biggest Korean
island, also known as the 'Hawaii of Korea.' He graduated from Seoul
National University (SNU), where he obtained his bachelor's degree in
political science with a minor in Korean history (August 2013) and
master's degree in international relations (February 2019). He joined
the UD community in the fall of 2020. Before entering the POSCIR
doctoral program, he served as an intelligence officer in the Air
Defense Missile Command, Republic of Korea Air Force, and worked as an
administrative assistant of SNU, as well as an assistant editor of SNU
News. His research interests are generally located in international
relations and comparative politics, with a regional focus on Northeast
Asian countries.
