Each year the Department of Political Science and International Relations presents a $1,000 cash award--the Gladys and Harry David Zutz Award--to one rising senior female and one rising senior male who has shown a commitment to community engagement and service. Interested students apply by submitting a 750-word (single space) essay about their community engagement/service activity and why they should receive this award. Students also submit a resume and a letter of recommendation (preferably from a person in the community) attesting to their community and volunteer service. 

The deadline for the award has been extended to April 20, 2020. Submit to AWARD-SUBMISSIONS@udel.edu  Please list "Zutz Award" in the subject line.  **Please include your UD ID NUMBER on correspondence. Open to non-majors.
