Biography
Wenxin Li is a PhD candidate who has joined the Department of Political Science and International Relations in 2019. Her dissertation examines Japan’s diplomatic capacity in shaping regional security order in the post-Cold War era. Upon receiving Japan Foundation Japanese Studies Fellowship and Hosei University International Foreign Scholars Fellowship, she is conducting fieldwork in Japan during June 2023 to March 2024.​

IR of Asia, comparative regionalisms, domestic politics-foreign policy nexus, state capacity, international and regional leadership, Japanese foreign policy, Chinese foreign policy.​​
